As his final creative surprise, Cy Twombly has produced a large body of photographic works: colorful, soft, and warm, reminiscent of the pictorialist tradition. His own artistic creations as well as objects and the nature surrounding him are his favorite subjects. Photographs IV features some 120 photographic prints from the Cy Twombly Estate in Gaeta, all of them previously unpublished.
