FRIDA KAHLO. Masterpieces

FRIDA KAHLO (1907 - 1954)

The Mexican painter Frida Kahlo was first discovered in Europe in the early 1980s. Since then , interest in her strongly  autobiographical work has been constantly growing.

Her fascinating, colorful paintings reflect her own unhappy personal history, her relationship with the painter Diego Rivera, her physical condition, her philosophy of nature and life, and her individual and mythological worldview - which would have been inconceivable without the revival of Indien culture in the Mexico og her time.
