CASS SCULPTURE FOUNDATION. 20 Years of Commissioning Large-scale Sculpture.

CASS SCULPTURE FOUNDATION. 20 Years of Commissioning Large-scale Sculpture

The Cass Sculpture Foundation grew out of a belief that there was the need to develop a new model for commissioning and exhibiting large-scale sculpture, one that would allow the Foundation to remain completely sustainable, regularly change the works on display, and give established and emerging sculptors worldwide the opportunity to realize ambitious new works.

Since its inception in 1992, the Foundation has commissioned and exhibited over four hundred works from important contemporary artists including: Anthony Caro, Tony Cragg, Stephen Cox, Andy Goldsworthy, Marc Quinn, Kiki Smith, Gavin Turk, Marianne Vitale, and Rachel Whiteread. These have been displayed across the Foundation’s twenty-six acres of woodland at Goodwood, West Sussex.
