dOCUMENTA (13) DAS BEGLEITBUCH/THE GUIDEBOOK

dOCUMENTA (13)  DAS BEGLEITBUCH/THE GUIDEBOOK

The Guidebook is entirely devoted to the artists; each one is introduced in an illustrated essay written by one of the dOCUMENTA (13) agents in close collaboration with the artists themselves. The illustrations, which are as diverse as the projects themselves, are contributed by the artists. They are individual visual statements, ranging from drawings to notes. Narrative introductions to the various showplaces, combine facts with Carolyn Christov-Barkargiev’s key ideas and concepts, which are connected to each of the sites.
Containing a map of the exhibition and brief descriptions of all of the sites and projects, the short guide is an indispensible tool for everyone attending the dOCUMENTA (13), as well as for anyone unable to see the show in person.
